Self contained one-bedroom annex hosted by Aquilo

Hayling Island Holiday is our one-bedroomed self-catering annex, which is attached to our home ‘Aquilo’.

We are located at South Hayling, a few hundred yards from the coastline, which is recognised for its importance for nature conservation. (AONB). Take a stroll along the shore. All you can hear are birds on the water and the wind chimes of the sailboat masts in the nearby boatyard.

Breath-taking views across Chichester Harbour, towards Halnaker Mill on the South Downs, Emsworth and Thorney Island. The countryside also offers a haven of peace and tranquillity, where visitors can walk, cycle or relax.

The island has many places to visit, including a theatre, restaurants, tearooms, and many pubs, many with beautiful coastal views.

We are a 15-minute walk to Mengham, with grocery shops, butchers, chemist, Post Office, and other local stores. (4 minutes by car, free 30-minute parking zones)

The island’s proximity to Portsmouth, Chichester, and Emsworth makes it an ideal base for touring, with attractions such as Goodwood and Fontwell, Southsea Castle, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, The South Downs, and Staunton Country Park nearby.
